Lent Quiet Day - 12th March

On Saturday 12 March St Augustine’s Church will be open between 10.00am and 4.00pm for anyone who wants to ‘drop into quietness’ at the beginning of the Lenten season. You are welcome to spend a few hours or a few minutes there, contemplating the display and pictures that will be around the church, adding a prayer to the prayer tree or lighting a candle. At 12noon Rita will give a short talk and there will be a simple act of worship at the end of the day.
