Local man welcomed as new minister

On Sunday 5th July, Anglicans from around Droitwich Spa welcomed a new minister at their Sunday Worship.

David Morris, who lives with his family in the Primsland area of Droitwich, was ordained deacon by the Bishop of Worcester on Saturday 4th July in Worcester Cathedral. He carried out his new ministry as a deacon – an assistant minister – for the first time at the Sunday morning Eucharist in St Andrew’s Church in the centre of Droitwich Spa on the following day.

Moving Prayer - Saturday 1st August

Do you feel like an afternoon of reflective circle dancing? Then come along to St Nicholas’ Church on Saturday 1 August at 2.30pm. Mary Callaway will be leading us in a variety of dances which will hopefully bring us to inner stillness. No previous experience is necessary as all dances are taught.
