Parish Development Update

The first of this year’s meetings to catch up with what’s happening in parish ministry and mission, and to help reflect on the next stages, will be on the evening of Tuesday 10th March at St Nicholas’. We shall be focusing on what’s happening in our contact with the local community, but also hearing about pastoral and congregational developments. These meeting are an opportunity for all church members to take part in thinking, planning and praying for the work of the Church of England in Droitwich. The other meetings this year will be on Wednesday 17th June and Wednesday 30th September.

Resourcing Ministry and Mission

In the Saltshaker you will find details of three ‘taster’ training sessions looking at how our traditions of faith, prayer and scripture can help resource and sustain our ministry both as individuals and as people who work together in God’s mission. They are being held at the Parish Centre at 7.30pm on Tuesday 10th February, Tuesday 17th March and Tuesday 21st April. If you are interested in joining any of these sessions with people from around the deanery, perhaps as a way of helping to delve more deeply into your own Christian discipleship, please let Sheila Banyard know.
