Chaplaincy Evening

You are invited to come and find out what the work of a town centre chaplain is all about. We are looking as a parish at how we can offer a pastoral ministry to those who work in Droitwich town centre. The Community Development Group has organised an evening on Monday 26th November at 7.30pm in the Parish Centre. Our speaker is Rev Dick Johnson, part of the Industrial Mission team

An Advent Jar for Peru

We would like to raise money for our partner diocese of Peru this Advent to support their relief work after this summer’s earthquake there. Rather than having collections in church, please will you find a jar and each day during Advent add some coins to it. You might like to do this, for example, each mealtime in thanksgiving for foot, or each evening in thanksgiving for shelter, or every morning when you clean your teeth in thanksgiving for water. However you collect your coins, please pray for the church in Peru. After Christmas we will collect the jars in to send the money off.

Sue Barrett’s Ordination

We are delighted to hear that Bishop David will be coming to St Andrew’s to ordain Sue as a priest on Advent Sunday, 2 December, at 3.30pm. Please put this date in your diary. Everyone is warmly invited to the service and the celebration afterwards to mark this very special occasion for Sue and for the parish.

Methodist Shared Service

On Sunday 18 November at 6pm we are welcoming members of Droitwich Methodist Church to St Andrew’s for the second of this year’s shared services to celebrate the Anglican-Methodist Covenant. Please do come and support this significant event.
